Dear Ailene, Cindy and Freedo,
I had planned on saying these things at the awards ceremony on Friday morning. However, I was too overcome with emotion then to be able to speak. So, I am telling you these things now, even though mere words cannot adequately express my thoughts and feelings.
I want to thank each of you for your literally tireless devotion to all of those who attended Camp Angelfish in 2010. Your dedication to, and anticipation of, the needs, wants, and desires of everyone there was truly remarkable. Each of you selflessly gave your all.
I also wanted to express my deep appreciation, even amazement, at the kindness, warmth and humanity shown by the Camp Winaukee staff. These young people from all over the world eagerly and enthusiastically helped whenever they saw the need.
So, on behalf of Nicole and Austin, thank you.
Finally, if you and your respective families are ever in San Francisco, let me know. If I am in town, I will give you a grand tour. If I happen to be in Connecticut then, you can stay at my place in San Rafael.
Take care,
Richard

Camp Mighty Mind Testimonials
My husband and I were so impressed with the improvement in our son after Camp Mighty Mind. Active games were always a challenge and he had little motivation to participate. After Camp he became much stronger, coordinated and more importantly more confident. We found him outside in the yard initiating a game of catch or basketball with his brother. We were overjoyed with his progress! Furthermore, my son was unable to read any words in his daily routine before Camp Mighty Minds. Afterwards, we found him reading many sight words throughout the day, very impressive. It was definitely money well spent and we look forward to more Camp Mighty Minds in the future!
Best,
Christine

Angelfish Therapy welcomes you to Camp Mighty Mind
We are thrilled that St. Paul’s Church in Darien is enabling us to bring such an innovative program to this community.
We will be having 3 weeks of fun-filled movement activities that your kids will love. Our program is designed to improve weak brain connections by using neuroplasticity and the brains innate ability to re-wire itself based on intensive stimulation.
We will incorporate exercises from various educational training including: Superbrain Yoga, Therapeeds, Ready Bodies Ready minds, INPP, Playproject, Alert Program for self-regulation, Skillastic Soccer & Basketball and many more.
Things you need to know:

In addition, a weekly invoice will be e-mailed to you reflecting PT and OT group therapy hours. It will be broken down as follows : One hour of OT and one hour of PT @ 75/hour. Gearing Up for Camp Mighty Mind
We are gearing up for Camp Mighty Mind. In order to objectively notice areas of improvement of your child, please take note of the following prior to the first day of camp:
- Ability to follow multi-step directions without reminders
- Awareness of body movements: uncoordinated, bumping into things or falling
- Ability to talk while performing a motor skill like jumping and counting
- Automatically cross their hand passed the middle of body during daily tasks
- Ability to start and stop their body in an efficient manner
- Observe your child running, skipping, dancing and galloping using both sides of their body.
- Ability to draw a person with all body parts, write and draw a picture
- Lastly, does your child say “what” frequently when you talk to him
Please jot down a few notes about the above finding prior to coming to camp and review them after camp and again in September to compare.
We will invite all parents for a night of socializing, sharing and light refreshments in early October.
