Our services include water base therapy and land based therapy. They are also in a private, semi-private and group based setting. Please look at the videos below to see some examples.
Water Therapy

Semi Private (45 min)
Two children with one therapist incorporating social skills into therapy (OT/PT)

These two children are working on dynamic balance and righting reactions. They are trying to rotate and pass the weighted ball to their friends hands without falling off the noodle.

This semi private focuses on prompting social interaction, eye contact and auditory processing while simultaneously working on coordination, strength and endurance. Arianna has a diagnosis of mild autism and Beau is working on integrating reflexes, strength and processing.
Small Group (45 min)
Group of 4-5 children with two therapist or with a therapist and a swim instructor. Focus is on skill acquisition for land based age appropriate activities including motor planning, coordination, strength and endurance.

A view into group therapy session with 4 boys ranging in age from 6-9 years old. They are working on strength. motor planning, self regulation and the ability to start and stop there bodies. These boys have been with Angelfish for more than 3 years starting in a private and progressing to semiprivate. There parents requested a small group to further work on filtering out distraction, focus and social skills. These boys love the pool and dont even realize how hard thay are working.

This group of boys are at the end of there 45 minute session. They are more focused and still willing to challenge and push themselves as therapists combine fun with the hard work! They have worked on respiration, core strengthening, turntaking, waiting and visual/auditory/vestibular processing in a stimulation environment.
Land Based Therapy
Land Based PT & OT (45 min)
Licensed physical therapists and occupational therapists.
Therapists provide sensory input in a multitude of ways to promote optimal level of arousal for learning and organization.
