Hi Ailene and Cindy,

I watched your Swim Whisperers video. I think it’s an excellent tool for all professionals who work with children in the water, even if they think they only work with typically-abled kids!!

I think the tools you present are invaluable for all adults, including therapists and parents, who spend time with kids in the water. Although your video specifically targets kids with specific special needs, all children have a range of skills and challenges in all areas (artistic, intellectual, motor development, sensory processing, etc.) across a continuum.

We ALL have challenges of some sort in some area. Additionally, all children have their ‘moments’ when they are tired, hungry, frustrated, etc. Your video offers invaluable tools for helping all children in the water, whether they have significant sensory processing challenges or they are just experiencing a difficult moment during their learning in the water.

Your video and very beneficial study guide give excellent tools for helping kids to be successful in the water. Your explanations and suggestions for common behaviors and specific movement challenges, give the viewer the needed tools and ‘tricks of the trade’ to guide children in the water in a positive, effective and FUN way.

I thoroughly enjoyed the video and study guide. I will definitely incorporate the skills I learned and will recommend this package to other aquatic therapists. THANKS!!!

P.S. As I watched your video and read your guide, I saw how many of your suggestions can also be utilized for adults, especially those with developmental, brain injury and sensory processing challenges!!
